The Dorcas Children Education Development (DORCED) Project was established in 2013 by the Evangelical Baptist Convention (EBC) with the objective of supporting the education of children in need. Guided by the love and compassion of Christ, DORCED aims to ensure that children from underprivileged backgrounds are given the opportunity to pursue their studies and build a brighter future.
The project provides educational support to students from Class III to Class XII, assisting them with school fees, learning materials and moral guidance. Every year, DORCED continues to support a new batch of students, helping them to remain in school and achieve their academic goals.
In 2025, the project proudly supported 145 students, reflecting EBC’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young lives through education and faith.
