The Convention Executive Committee (CEC) serves as the executive body of the Evangelical Baptist Convention, entrusted with the authority to make decisions regarding the functioning and administration of the Church when the Annual Convention is not in session.
Comprising 12 members elected by the Annual Convention for a three-year term, the Committee operates in accordance with the Church’s established policies aims, and objectives.
Through its deliberations and actions, the CEC ensures that the mission and ministries of the Church are carried out when the Annual Convention is not in session and remain aligned with its biblical foundation, vision and purpose.
