The Convention Book House of the Evangelical Baptist Convention (EBC) has a rich legacy rooted in the vision to promote Christian literature and serve the printing needs of the Church. The idea was first conceived during the 1963 Kangkap Convention and it became a reality in 1965 with the purchase of a printing machine, marking the beginning of what was then known as the Convention Printing Press.
In 1970, the Convention Book Room was established in one corner of the printing press to make Christian books and resources more accessible to believers. It was later renamed the Evangelical Book House in 1997, and in 2015, it adopted its present name, Convention Book House, following its merger with the Convention Printing Press.
Located at the Dorcas Hall Campus, Tedim Road, New Lamka, the Convention Book House continues to play a vital role in the ministry of the Church. It undertakes designing, accounting, printing, binding, and selling of books and printed materials. As the go-to place for Christian literature, worship materials, and other publications, it stands as a hub for spreading knowledge, faith, and inspiration within the community.
